Honors Thesis Student
B.S., Boston College, 2019
I joined the lab as an undergraduate research assistant in December of 2016. My senior thesis will explore the effects of competitive memory recall on emotional activation, specifically how to utilize retrieval induced forgetting methods to inhibit activation of negative memories. My research interests include cognitive and affective neuroscience and their application to clinical psychology. After graduation I hope to work as a research assistant before pursuing a doctorate in clinical psychology.
I’m also a part of the Clinical Concentration program offered by BC. Through this, I work with individuals in a substance use recovery program for the greater Boston area. In addition, I work as an Integration Associate Student Intern for a clinically integrated network of healthcare providers in Fairfield County, CT, and as an Interlibrary Loan Assistant at the Boston College libraries.
Outside of the lab I like to spend my time watching reality tv, hanging out with my dogs and bunny, and doing crossword puzzles.
